FRIEDA

From an early age Frieda was drawn to music. Her heart would skip a beat the second the first notes came to her ears and her feet would immediately start moving like they had a life of their own. And while friends and family watched „little, dancing Frieda“ in bewildered amusement when she was a girl, their negative demeanor grew over the years. Frieda‘s parents believed that dancing in such a manner was not elegant, inappropriate for a young lady and simply not how it should be („Storks don‘t dance. End of the story.“). Frieda, being Frieda, didn‘t want to see her parents unhappy and finally bent to their ideas and wishes for her so called „wellbeing“. But standing here now, the golden moonlight upon her feathers, she feels her heart exploding with passion and purpose: it is no longer a choice Frieda can make, no, Frieda HAS to dance! And it is here and then she decides, that she will from now on ALWAYS dance like no one‘s watching.
